Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)
The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) is available to qualifying students in TK - 6th grades at all Child Development Centers. Under the program, students may qualify for free services under the ELOP Grant sponsored by the California Department of Education. Program features include:
- Before and After School Care and Seasonal Camps
- Academic Support and Homework Help
- Outdoor Recreation and Social Emotional Learning
- Enrichment Opportunities
- Expert Care from Qualified CDS Staff

“Expanded Learning” means before school, after school, summer or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences.”
Expanded Learning programs are student-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement activities in the regular school day and school year.
